Are Not Honored with Scheduled Backups
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article: 242881 - The Windows
2000 Backup (Ntbackup.exe) tool has several options
that are either not honored when you schedule a
backup to start at a later time or not available
when you use command-line parameters or switches.
(updated 12/29/1999) BUG: NTBackup can't
backup individual files from a batch file or via
a command prompt
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article: 216789 - When
you run NTBackup from the command line or from
a batch file, and you specify a single file to
be backed up, (for example: ntbackup backup c:\xfer\test.txt
/D "Test One" /l "c:\backup.log"), you will consistently
get the following error: You
do not have permission to access portions of specified
path\filename By design, NTBackup can
only back up directories when using a batch file

Scheduled Backups
Fail on Standalone Tape Drives After Changing
Media
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article: 267574 - When
you schedule a Windows 2000 unattended backup
by using a standalone tape drive (library), the
first backup job completes successfully. However,
after you change the media, the next scheduled
backup job does not back up the desired folder
